You’ll examine management decision making, from high-level strategic decisions to day-to-day operations.

Management skills are necessary in every organization. We’ll prepare you to succeed in a variety of personal and professional pursuits. You’ll gain knowledge of concepts concerning how individuals and organizations function, and some of the decision-making tools that managers use in business settings. You’ll study of the four major management functions of:

  • Planning
  • Organizing
  • Leading
  • Controlling

You will examine management decision making, from high-level strategic decisions to day-to-day operations and human resource issues.

With a bachelor’s degree in management, you’ll gain the skills needed to succeed in a variety of professional and personal pursuits. The B.B.A. in Management is housed within the School of Business. Coursework is rooted in practical application that focuses on the four main management functions of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Students in this degree program learn how to evaluate ethical situations, work with and develop teams, effectively communicate business information, and deal with cross-cultural challenges. They also examine management decision-making at various levels, from high-level strategic decisions to daily operations and human resource issues.
