Deficiencies for Secondary Education


The Secondary Education program requires students to complete a minimum of 18 credit hours toward their content area of: English and Language Arts; Mathematics; Science/Biology Emphasis or Chemistry Emphasis; Social Science/History Emphasis or Political Science Emphasis. 

 

Format


This program can be completed in one year. Courses in the Summer and Fall are offered asynchronously and the Spring course is offered synchronously. The 60 hour field experience and student teaching components provide supervisor and cooperating teacher support. Classes are delivered online using the course management system Brightspace.
