McKendree Welcomes New Staff Members

Lebanon, Ill. — McKendree University announces several recent new additions to its staff:


Three new resident directors living on campus are Jennifer Steuck in the new residence hall east; Marc Glidden in Barnett Hall; and Molly Muenster in Baker Hall.

Angela Red
, of Fairview Heights, is the new assistant athletic director for compliance. The Danville, Ill., native brings experience from an internship with the Great Lakes Valley Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association to the university as it transitions to NCAA Division II status.

The Development, Alumni and Parent Relations division recently welcomed Sarah Klucker, of Highland, the director of parent relations; and Whitney Strang, a 2005 McKendree graduate; director of major gifts.

Dan Kampwerth, of Breese, is a budget specialist in the administration and finance department. He is a former bank vice president at National Bank and First Bank.

Jill Duffie, of Freeburg, is a new accounts receivable specialist in the business office.

Shari Thurnau, of St. Jacob, is a staff accountant in the administration and finance department.

Rachel Macon, of Carlyle, is a new admission counselor; Cheryl Oakley, of Troy, is an administrative assistant; and Kevin Joseph, a Lebanon resident, is the new office assistant in the admission office.

Other new hires at McKendree this spring were George Manning, of Edwardsville, who is the administrative assistant to Dr. James Dennis, university president; Andrew Vernon, of St. Louis, a public safety officer; and Adam Huffman, also of St. Louis, a systems analyst on the information technology staff.
