Christine Brewer and Friends in Concert at The Hett on July 17

Photo of Christine BrewerLebanon, Ill. - Don’t miss a unique opportunity to see world-renowned soprano Christine Brewer in concert with her musical friends on Tuesday, July 17. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. at the Hettenhausen Center for the Performing Arts on the McKendree University campus in Lebanon.

In addition to the Grammy award-winning singer, “An Evening of Music with Christine Brewer and Friends” will welcome Susan Slaughter, recently retired first trumpet with the Saint. Louis Symphony Orchestra; Noel Prince and Alice Nelson, piano; Allison Felter, French horn; and a men’s quartet from the Saint Louis Symphony Chorus.

Tickets for reserved seats are $25 each and available from the box office at 618-537-6863 or online at thehett.com.

A limited number of premium seats will include a post-concert “Afterglow” at Fezziwig’s Marketplace, 218 W. St. Louis Street in historic downtown Lebanon (fezziwigsmarket.com). Enjoy drinks, dessert and an opportunity to meet and chat with Ms. Brewer. Tickets for the concert and Afterglow are $125.

The concert is a benefit for the singer’s home church, First United Methodist Church of Lebanon (lebanonmethodist.org). Proceeds will be used for its Accessibility Renovation Fund.
