Volunteer Fair at McKendree on Sept. 17
Lebanon, Ill. — Many local agencies and community organizations rely on volunteers
to help them accomplish their mission. Visit the Volunteer Fair on Monday, Sept. 17,
from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., to find out which opportunities might be right for you.
McKendree University’s Lyn Huxford Center for Community Service coordinates the annual
event, held in Piper Academic Center on campus, in order to bring awareness to local
service opportunities. Students and community residents are encouraged to attend.
Participating organizations, representing a variety of interests, will include Lebanon
Kids, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Stray Rescue, CASA and many more. For more information,
