Fall Family Weekend at McKendree, Nov. 1-3
‘Bearcat Country Tailgate’ Concert Before Football Game Kickoff
Lebanon, Ill. — Fall Family Weekend at McKendree University features athletic events,
tailgating, Bearcat Comedy Night, a food and supply drive, and a late night movie,
“Planes.” Families and friends of McKendree students are invited to campus Nov. 1-3
for a full weekend of activities and entertainment.
A highlight will be the Campus Activities Board’s pre-game “Bearcat Country Tailgate”
party on Saturday, Nov. 2 starting at 2 p.m., before the Bearcats Football Team kick
off against Quincy University at 6 p.m. Country-rock bands Scarletta and Natalie Stovall
and the Drive will play, along with McKendree student Devon VanNote’s band “Which
Way.” Scarletta, a Nashville-based trio, was one of Billboard’s Top 10 Country Artists
to Watch in 2013. Stovall’s high energy show has opened for country stars Gretchen
Wilson, Josh Gracin, Dierks Bentley and others.
The tailgate party will also include inflatables, games, and food vendors. For more
