'Tis the Season for Music and Art at McKendree University
(LEBANON, Ill., November 12, 2014) — The McKendree University Division of Visual and
Performing Arts and the Hettenhausen Center for the Arts announce several upcoming
free admission events:
Monday,Nov. 17, 7:30 p.m.: Saint Louis Symphony Monday features a chamber ensemble of Symphony Orchestra musicians.
Thursday, Nov. 20, 7:30 p.m.: The McKendree Chamber Ensembles Concert presents the Saxophone Ensemble, Brass Ensembles
and Woodwind Ensemble at the Hett.
Friday, Nov. 21, 7.30 p.m.: The Marching Bearcat Band Concert, led by David Boggs, director, at the Hett.
Monday, Dec. 1, 7:30 p.m.: Vocal Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo concert, Maurice Egeston and Neil Ostercamp, directors,
at the Hett.
Dec. 4-11: An All Student Art Show showcases the creativity of all students enrolled in an art
class this semester at the McKendree Gallery of Art, 224 W. St. Louis St. in downtown
Lebanon. The exhibit opens with a reception on Dec. 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. For gallery

Friday, Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m.: “A McKendree Christmas” features the Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble at the Hett.
Sunday, Dec. 7, 3 p.m.: The McKendree Christmas Choral Concert, presented by the Concert Choir and Chamber
Choir at the Hett.
