McKendree University to Hold Career Fair on February 15
(LEBANON, Ill., January 31, 2023) – McKendree University will be holding its annual
Career Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on campus at the Hettenhausen
Center for the Arts. Students, alumni and job seekers alike are welcome to attend
this free event. Registration is not required but is encouraged and can be done through
Handshake.
Attendees may also get their photo taken for free if they wish to update their LinkedIn
profile with a professional photo. Photos are taken by the University and will be
provided to attendees. Job seekers should also dress professionally and bring plenty
of resumes on the day of the Career Fair.
“The McKendree University Career Fair is a great opportunity for students and alumni
to speak with many employers in one location,” said Jennifer Pickerell, director of
Career Services at McKendree University. “Participants learn more information about
companies, discuss internships and job openings, and connect with hiring managers
for future career opportunities.”
As of January 31, more than 60 employers from the Greater St. Louis area and beyond
will be attending the Career Fair, including Abstrakt Marketing Group, Country Financial,
Drury Hotels, FCB Banks, Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, Southern
Illinois Healthcare (SIH), Stifel, Walgreens and many more. A full, up-to-date list
