McKendree’s School of Business Receives Specialized Accreditation from IACBE

(LEBANON, Ill., August 14, 2024) – The Board of Commissioners of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) is pleased to announce that, at its meeting on July 31, 2024, the School of Business of McKendree University was granted reaffirmation of specialized business accreditation for one or more of its business-related degree programs.

The School of Business at McKendree University has demonstrated compliance of its business program(s) with the IACBE Accreditation Principles through a rigorous process of self-evaluation and independent peer review. These principles include: a commitment to integrity, responsibility, and ethical behavior; quality assessment and advancement; strategic planning; business curricula and learning opportunities; business faculty characteristics, activities, and processes; student policies, procedures, and processes; resources supporting business programs; external relationships; and innovation in business education.

In addition, the School of Business has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in business education and advancing academic quality in its business programs and operations.

McKendree’s School of Business offers several degree programs for both undergraduate and graduate students in in-person, online, and hybrid formats. Their undergraduate business programs include accounting, business administration, communication, cyber defense, economics, economics and finance, entrepreneurship, healthcare management, human resource management, management, marketing, sport management, and supply chain management and logistics. Master’s degrees offered include business administration, corporate finance, cyber defense, digital marketing and human resource management.

McKendree also offers a 4+1 accelerated Bachelor of Business Administration to Master of Business Administration program in which students can obtain a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in only five years. Classes are taught by professors who are professionals in their field with many of them being current or former business owners. McKendree’s small class sizes also ensure that students receive personalized attention and guidance from their professors.
