McKendree University and Rend Lake College Articulation Agreements Ease Transfer for 23 Programs

(LEBANON, Ill. – February 15, 2022) – McKendree University and Rend Lake College recently established 23 articulation agreements that enable students to advance their education and careers by ensuring a seamless transfer process for students seeking a bachelor’s degree.

The articulation agreements between the institutions establish a set of Rend Lake courses and credits accepted by McKendree. The program agreements are extended to 12 Bachelor of Business Administration degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and 10 Bachelor of Arts degrees, making transferring to McKendree from Rend Lake simple and seamless.

“McKendree University has always taken pride in being a transfer-friendly institution,” said Dr. Melissa Meeker, dean of Worldwide Programs. “We have a focused effort to expand our agreements with community colleges throughout Illinois and the greater St. Louis region to ease the process for prospective students.”

McKendree University works continually with community colleges throughout the state to develop articulation agreements and four-year transfer plans for students who complete their associate’s degree and go on to earn their bachelor’s degree at the University. McKendree currently offers more than 107 such agreements with 12 different community colleges.
