Diverse Perspectives
McKendree University is committed to nurturing a diverse and inclusive environment. We bring together faculty, staff, students and community members from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives to engage in a mutual exchange of ideas and experiences; encourage respect and understanding of human and cultural differences; and embrace many viewpoints. Our mission focuses on seven student learning outcomes, including diverse perspectives. To achieve this, specific classes within the curriculum focus on issues of diversity, and a variety of activities allow students to experience and celebrate it.
