McKendree University is excited to provide academic scholarships to international students who have completed the application process and been accepted to McKendree.

 

International First-Year Students

 

Merit Scholarships are awarded at the time of admission based upon a student's application and academic merit. Award amounts vary.

International Transfer Students

Transfer Scholarship

Transfer scholarships are awarded to academically talented transfer students from any institution based on the following criteria:

GPA Annual Award

4.0-2.75    $8,000

Transfer scholarships are awarded at the time of acceptance.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Phi Theta Kappa members will receive an annual $2,000 PTK scholarship upon admission to the University.  Membership must be noted on the transcript presented at admission or the student may provide a copy of the membership card..

PICU Community College Transfer Scholarship

PICU will award two scholarships each semester - one $1,000 and one $500 award - to community college transfer students looking to achieve their educational goals at a member institutions.

To be eligible, students must submit an application and meet the following criteria:

· Be currently enrolled in an Illinois community college

· Complete a minimum of 30 credit hours at a community college

· Submit an application for admission to one of the 47 PICU member colleges or universities (McKendree is a member)

· Have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or greater
