With a major in Business Administration you’ll learn a broad foundation of business knowledge. You’ll be exposed to a variety of experiences that you may face on a daily basis in your business careers. Be prepared to take an active role in all areas of business including:

  • Accounting

  • Economics

  • Management

  • Marketing

You’ll focus on general business skills which will make you a flexible practitioner in the job market.

The bachelor’s degree in business administration is the most flexible program offered within McKendree’s School of Business. With a B.B.A. in Business Administration, you’ll receive a broad foundation of business knowledge and gain practical experiences that will prepare you to be adaptable in the job market.

Housed within the School of Business, the B.B.A. in Business Administration gives students the opportunity to choose their electives from at least two areas of business, including accounting, economics, finance, management, and marketing. Students in this major get the general business skills they need to succeed while also specializing in specific areas of interest.

  • Business Administration: This track is intended for students whose careers are well established and who desire to add business knowledge to their professional credentials.

A minor in business administration is available only to students majoring in a non-business area other than computer information systems.
