Peter Akers Award Nomination Form

The McKendree University Alumni Association annually seeks and accepts nominations of alumni for the McKendree Alumni Awards. The selection is made from candidates who have distinguished themselves in the areas of athletics, in their professions, or whose dedication and volunteer commitment has significantly enhanced the goals and mission of the University and the McKendree Alumni Association.

Nominations are reviewed annually and an honoree is selected by the Alumni Board. These awards are presented each year during Homecoming Weekend. Please note that it is necessary that an award recipient be able to attend the Alumni Awards Dinner during the Homecoming Weekend.

All nominations must be received by April 15th to be eligible for this year’s awards. Award nominations are welcome throughout the year preceding the deadline.

Peter Akers Award

This is the McKendree Alumni Association’s most prestigious honor. Each year it is presented to a distinguished alumna or alumnus who has had remarkable success in his or her profession, whose life reflects the values of McKendree University, and who has demonstrated unparalleled loyalty to the University.
