Rising Star Awards Nomination Form
The McKendree University Alumni Association annually seeks and accepts nominations
of alumni for the McKendree Alumni Awards. The selection is made from candidates who
have distinguished themselves in the areas of athletics, in their professions, or
whose dedication and volunteer commitment has significantly enhanced the goals and
mission of the University and the McKendree Alumni Association.
Nominations are reviewed annually and an honoree is selected by the Alumni Board. These awards are presented each year during Homecoming Weekend. Please note that it is necessary that an award recipient be able to attend the Alumni
Awards Dinner during Homecoming Weekend.
All nominations must be received by April 15th to be eligible for this year’s awards. Award nominations are welcome throughout the
year preceding the deadline.
Rising Star Awards
These awards are presented to alumni who have graduated from McKendree within the
past decade. These awards are presented to individuals who have made significant achievements
in their professions, or chosen fields, and have demonstrated a high level of involvement
in McKendree and in their respective communities.
