First Time Federal Direct Loan Borrower

Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling for Direct Loans

Students, who are borrowing for the first time through the Federal Direct Loan Program, must complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling. 

What You Need to Complete:

1. Log into to the MPN Website with your FSA ID to complete your MPN.

The following information will be needed:

o Your Social Security Number

o Your driver’s license number

o Names, addresses, and phone numbers for two references

2. Complete your Entrance Counseling

 

3. View and Accept Student Loan Offers via Self Service portal, in the my awards section under Financial Aid Counseling.
